National Academy of Continuing Legal Education is an Approved CLE Sponsor (106648) by the Indiana Commission For Continuing Legal Education.

Icon for Question: What are the CLE requirements for Indiana attorneys?

Indiana attorneys are required to take 36 credit hours every three years including 3 credit hours of Ethics. Attorneys must complete at least 6 CLE credits in each year of the three year cycle. Attorneys cannot complete all 36 credits in one year

Indiana attorneys can earn all 36 CLE credit hours including 3 Ethics with us using our Online & iOS/Android App courses.

Icon for Question: Am I allowed to carry over excess credits taken from one compliance period to the next?

Indiana Attorneys cannot carry over any credits into the next reporting period.

The Indiana Supreme Court has issued an order permanently removing the cap on distance education. Therefore IN attorneys can now satisfy their entire requirement with us with our Online & iOS/Android App courses! IN Supreme Court Notices Dated 6/6/2022.

Icon for Question: How do I report my MCLE compliance once I have completed my courses?

We report CLE attendance to the IN CLE board every 30 days. IN Attorneys are also able to report their own credits on the Indiana Courts website by logging in, going to the “My Continuing Education” section, and clicking “report legal education credits”.
