About This Course
Public entities often face unique limitations in their ability to award construction contracts.
This CLE course explores the history and use of various project delivery methods — including emergency contracting, time-and-materials, design-bid-build, design-build, and progressive design-build — and examines the advantages and disadvantages of each from both the owner’s and contractor’s perspective.
The session will also address statutory procurement requirements that can restrict public agencies in their choice of contracting approaches.
