Accreditation and CLE Rules for Virgin Islands
National Academy of Continuing Legal Education is an accredited sponsor of CLE across the United States. Attorneys licensed in the Virgin Islands may earn all 12 credit hours through the National Academy of CLE using our Online, DVD and Audio CD formats.
VI Attorneys must complete 12 CLE credit hours every year, including 2 hours of ethics. The reporting cycle is from January 1st through December 31st and each member must certify compliance by January 31st. Attorneys may carry over a maximum of 6 CLE credit hours to a subsequent compliance period. Rule 208 establishes a self-reporting system. Members are responsible for uploading their CLE credits to the website at www.vibar.org/login.aspx.
