About This Course
Building on the concepts introduced in Part 1, this CLE program continues to examine what litigators can learn from film through carefully selected movie scenes that illustrate practical lessons for both pretrial and trial advocacy. Using additional film clips, the program explores advanced litigation techniques, with particular emphasis on witness examination, the effective presentation of evidence, persuasive case theory, and courtroom storytelling, primarily from the plaintiff's perspective.
By analyzing memorable scenes through the lens of trial practice, attendees will gain practical advocacy strategies while viewing familiar films in an entirely new way. The program demonstrates how cinematic portrayals of litigation can provide valuable insights into persuasion, preparation, and effective courtroom presentation.
