Accreditation and CLE Rules for Tennessee
*COVID-19 Update: The Tennessee Supreme Court has issued an order waiving the 8-hour distance learning CLE limitation for the 2020 and 2021 requirement. Attorneys can now complete any portion of their 2020 and 2021 CLE requirement via On Demand programming until December 31, 2021. Therefore all TN attorneys can now satisfy their entire requirement with us with our Online & iOS/Android App courses. TN Supreme Court Notice
National Academy of Continuing Legal Education is approved by the Tennessee Commission on CLE and Specialization to provide distance learning CLE courses in the state of Tennessee. You can find us in the provider drop down on the Tennessee CLE Commission website course search.
Tennessee Attorneys must complete 15 credits including 3 ethics credits per compliance period. Attorneys may earn 8 CLE credit hours including 3 Legal Ethics credits using our Online & iOS/Android App formats. Attorneys may carry over 15 credits for a period of 12 months. The compliance period begins on January 1st and ends on Dec 31st. The deadline for reporting is March 1st.
*For purchases on or after 6/8/2020: We will report your attendance & pay reporting fees to the Tennessee Commission on CLE.
*For purchases made before 6/8/2020: After completing your course(s) you must report your CLE compliance to the Tennessee Commission on CLE. NACLE does NOT report your attendance to the Tennessee Commission on CLE.
