About This Course
The modern cannabis industry survives—and profits—by selling highly addictive THC products that are associated with significant mental and physical injuries, widespread human suffering, and substantial economic loss. These harms place a profound burden on national health care and economic systems. Evidence shows the THC industry has long been aware of these risks. Despite this knowledge, the industry has repeatedly and skillfully denied or minimized these facts to the public, government entities, and the public health community. Defendants have aggressively marketed and sold psychoactive THC products with a single-minded focus on financial success, employing deceptive practices while disregarding the human tragedy and social costs resulting from widespread use and addiction.
This CLE course will examine the emerging landscape of cannabis-related personal injury litigation and provide attorneys with the tools necessary to pursue justice for victims harmed by THC products. Attorneys will leave with practical knowledge and litigation resources to effectively represent individuals injured by the THC industry.
