About This Course
This CLE course introduces attorneys to aspects of Federal Procurement law, that special body of law that governs how the Government obtains goods and services, everything from paper clips to highway construction to military equipment (including really big items like aircraft carriers).
In this course, you will learn about how contracts are formed, from the solicitation for bids by the government to potential suppliers, the policies underlying the complex rules governing what steps must be followed by both the government and potential suppliers, and what happens when things go wrong, like flaws in the specifications, disappointed bidders, or worse, when suppliers engage in criminal conduct.
