John W. Ament, Esq.
John is a member of the Estate Planning and Estate Administration, Real Estate, and Business Planning groups at Feldstein Grinberg Lang & McKee. In this capacity, he helps clients plan or administer their estates, advises clients on all aspects of real estate transactions, and leans on his real-world corporate experiences to provide clients with insight on corporate structure and planning matters.
A summa cum laude graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Operations Management, John began his career working at Respironics (now Philips/Respironics) in its International Logistics Department, and prior to starting at the firm worked in management within Del Monte Foods’ Integrated Business Planning Department.
While working full-time, John graduated from Duquesne University’s joint evening JD/MBA program and served as a senior staff member on Duquesne’s Business Law Journal. John worked as a sole-practitioner in the Murrysville area, for two years prior to joining the firm.
John is a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Bar Association, and is admitted to practice before the Pennsylvania state courts and the federal courts in the Western District of Pennsylvania.
Edwin W. Russell, Esq.
Edwin's practice focuses on estate and trust planning, administration and related litigation matters as well as counseling clients on taxation matters. Over the past ten years Edwin has represented executors of estates ranging up to multimillion dollar estates. He represented both fiduciaries and beneficiaries of estates and trusts involved in related litigation matters. Edwin regularly prepares sophisticated estate plans for clients designed to minimize Federal Estate and Gift Taxes while focusing on the client's wealth transfer and business succession goals. He also represents clients involved in tax controversy matters with the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue and the Internal Revenue Service.
Edwin accepted a nomination to the Allegheny County Bar Association Probate and Trust Law Section Council, is a member of the Bar Association's Taxation Section as well as the Estate Planning Council of Pittsburgh.
Edwin received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and his Juris Doctorate from Duquesne University. Edwin earned a LLM in Taxation from the University of Alabama School of Law.
