This CLE presents a survey and overview of the many areas of law involved in counseling real estate brokers and representing them in different settings, from the courtroom to the board room, in litigation, collecting commissions, asserting and foreclosing liens, counseling, and on occasion defending claims of real estate broker misconduct. Drafting skills are described for the many agreements utilized by brokers. Points made are highlighted with real life war stories accrued over almost 4 decades of time in the trenches.
