Description

Commercial leases aren’t nearly as straightforward as they might seem and the small details matter a great deal. This CLE course will discuss 10 key practical issues when reviewing and drafting commercial office leases. The course will offer an understanding of an attorney’s role in the transaction as well as important information to note about the parties involved. The importance of a long-term outlook, the difference between usable vs. rentable space, term-sheets, security deposits, utility payments, subletting, and the pitfalls of default will all be reviewed.
