About This Course
This CLE course will look at the key Ethics Opinions issued in the last year by the ABA as well as the several State Bar Associations. This review would highlight not only the rule but the implication on the practice as we know it. Next would be an examination of the several of the critical issues that arose during this past year as lawyer dealt with several outside influences including a significant challenge from the political world on the independence of the Rule of Law in the united States. The presentation will also discuss other emerging conflicts that have been seen with more firm mergers and increasing movant from one firm to another. In this same vein there is a need to look at the ethics of moving from the regulatory world into the private practice in the same industry. Finally the presentation will look at the challenges to come with AI and the emergence of law firms merging with accounting and financial firms.
