Michael Firestone, Esq.
The founder of Firestone Law PLLC, Michael Firestone is a litigator and business advisor who has represented companies and individuals in state and federal courts in a broad range of commercial matters including complex contract and fraud cases, business divorces and partnership disputes, real estate litigation, securities litigation, and claims for breach of fiduciary duty. Michael was recognized by SuperLawyers as a "Rising Star" from 2014-2017. A graduate of New York University School of Law, Michael began his career in the litigation department of Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft, LLP. He then joined the leading international law firm of Weil, Gotshal & Manges, LLP, where he spent nearly eight years working on a diverse array of cases, such as litigation arising out of a billion-dollar management buyout, representing a private equity company in connection with claims for securities fraud, and representing the estate of Lehman Brothers in connection with various disputes arising out of its historic bankruptcy. Before starting his own firm, Michael was of counsel to a boutique New York firm, Levin & Glasser, P.C., where his practice focused on representing privately held businesses in commercial disputes and individuals seeking to separate their interests from their business partners.
