This CLE course is designed as the third installment in the AI for Legal Practice series. The first course introduces attorneys to the fundamentals of AI, including effective prompting techniques. The second course explores advanced ChatGPT capabilities, including Projects, Memory, Tasks, Custom GPTs, file uploads, model selection, and AI-assisted drafting with appropriate quality control. Building on that foundation, this third course examines how attorneys and law firms can use AI to develop supervised, repeatable, and well-governed workflows.

The course emphasizes the implementation of AI systems within a law practice rather than isolated prompting techniques. Topics include developing standardized AI workflows, creating Custom GPTs for recurring legal tasks, using AI Agents for supervised multi-step work, leveraging Deep Research for source-intensive legal research, and organizing internal AI resources such as prompt libraries, templates, checklists, and prior work product. Additional discussion covers AI-assisted document assembly, administrative automation, client communication workflows, and the governance practices necessary to evaluate, deploy, and manage AI responsibly within a legal organization.

A central theme of the program is that sophisticated AI implementation is not intended to replace the attorney's professional judgment, but rather to enhance legal practice by building more effective, consistent, and well-managed systems around it.
