Kenny Stein
Kenneth A. Stein, MD is board certified in both Emergency Medicine and Internal Medicine and subspecialty certified in Neurocritical Care. After Medical School at Vanderbilt University, Dr. Stein completed Residency at the University of Kentucky Medical Center and at Washington University Jewish Hospital.
Dr. Stein has practiced Emergency Medicine for 29 years and Critical Care / Intensive Care Medicine for 27 years.
Professional association memberships include the American Association of Physician Specialties, the Society of Critical Care Medicine, and the American College of Chest Physicians.
Dr. Stein is an expert witness for both plaintiff and defense in cases involving emergency medicine, critical care and internal medicine, including damages & causation in personal injury and wrongful death cases.
Alexis Jani
Alexis Jani is an attorney with more than 15 years of experience handling civil litigation matters involving medical malpractice, pharmacy errors, premises liability, personal injury, and general liability claims. She is admitted to practice before all Louisiana state courts and the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of Louisiana. She is also a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association.
Alexis joined The Bowling Law Firm in 2024, bringing a longstanding commitment to advocacy, public service, and helping individuals facing difficult circumstances.
She earned her Juris Doctor from Tulane University Law School in 2009. During law school, she served on Moot Court, earning a position on the Moot Court Board, and was a member of the editorial board of the Tulane Journal of Law and Sexuality. She also clerked at the Civil District Court for Orleans Parish and worked with both the Domestic Violence Clinic and Juvenile Law Clinic at Tulane Law School.
Her dedication to pro bono service began early in her legal career. Alexis received a Pro Bono Award for her volunteer work with the Pro Bono Project, where she provided legal services to underserved individuals, and she also worked with the New Orleans Legal Aid Corporation assisting victims of domestic violence.
Alexis earned her bachelor’s degree in political science from Johns Hopkins University in 2006. During her undergraduate years, she was actively involved in community service and education advocacy, volunteering with Moveable Feast, an organization serving individuals living with HIV and AIDS, teaching kindergarten through the Center for Summer Learning, and interning with the ACLU of Maryland’s education department. She also testified before the Maryland State Legislature regarding the impact of summer learning loss and educational access initiatives.
Born in Hartford, Connecticut, and raised in Princeton, New Jersey, Alexis has maintained a career-long commitment to advocacy, service, and community engagement.
