About This Course
AI is increasingly being used in the insurance industry, including claims evaluation, fraud detection, underwriting, and medical-claims analysis. This CLE course will examine the impact of AI on insurance bad-faith claims, with a focus on the accuracy, validity, reliability, transparency, and potential bias of AI-assisted decisions.
The program will address consumer concerns, American Medical Association warnings regarding AI in health care, and emerging issues at the intersection of medicine, health policy, and law. Attendees will also explore claims-handling responsibilities, human oversight, regulatory and litigation risks, and practical considerations for evaluating AI-generated information.
