This CLE course will review both the basics and some advanced tips and tricks for taking and defending expert witness depositions. In recent years the process of taking expert depositions shortly before trial has become more contentious and often generates motions in limine and other trial objections. It may also form the basis for seeking evidentiary hearings prior to trial related to opinions intended to be offered by expert witnesses. The seminar will give you the information you need to competently conduct or defend the deposition of any type of expert witness.
