Lecturer Bios
Stuart J. Reich
Mr. Reich is a frequent speaker on immigration topics to legal professional
associations, civic groups, and private concerns. He has guest lectured on
immigration issues at New York Law School and Benjamin Cardozo Law School
as well as at various immigration conferences, and he is actively involved in
various immigration organizations and causes. Mr. Reich serves currently as the
Co-Chair of the Advocacy Committee for the New York Chapter of the American
Immigration Lawyers' Association and as Chair of the Department of Labor
Subcommittee of the New York County Law Association's Immigration
Committee.
Mr. Reich is a 1991 graduate of Allegheny College in Meadville, Pennsylvania
and a 1994 graduate of the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law in Cleveland,
Ohio. Admitted in the states of New York, Ohio and Pennsylvania and Federally
to the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, Mr. Reich is a member
of the American Bar Association and the American Immigration Lawyers
Association. He has been practicing since 1995, having learned under the
guidance of some of the most respected names in the field.
Mr. Reich has assisted individuals from virtually all fields and in a wide array of
situations, with an emphasis on technologists and those working in the sciences
and health fields. Mr. Reich was raised to be aware of the privilege of living in the
U.S. and the hard work that is often required to win that privilege. He brings this
understanding to the practice of immigration law.
Linda Kenepaske
Linda Kenepaske has been practicing immigration law in New York City for more than
20 years.
She handles all types of immigration cases, including family and employment based
immigrant and non-immigrant visas, naturalization matters and removal defense. She
is currently chair of the Immigration and Nationality Law Committee of the Bar of the
City of New York. Ms. Kenepaske is also very active in the American
Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) on both the local and national levels. She
lectures frequently on immigration topics before bar associations.
Eugene Glicksman
Eugene J. Glicksman has been a full-time husband since 1984, and took on the
added responsibilities of fatherhood in 1989. When not engaged in these pursuits, he is an
attorney who has devoted the major portion of his practice to the field of immigration and
nationality law for over thirty years. His partner in the firm of Glicksman & Cardoso is Patricia
Cardoso, a former General Attorney with the “Legacy” Immigration & Naturalization Service.
Mr. Glicksman has lectured on immigration and nationality law at seminars conducted
by the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the New York County Lawyers' Association
and the World Trade Institute. He has been a guest lecturer to students of immigration and
nationality law at Fordham University School of Law and New York City College (C.U.N.Y.),
and has appeared before industry trade groups and on radio.
Mr. Glicksman received his B.A. from Brooklyn College/CUNY and his J.D. from
Brooklyn Law School. He is admitted to the bars of the State of New York, the United States
District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York, the Court of Appeals for the
Second Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Glicksman is the Co-Chair of
NYCLA’s Committee on Immigration and Nationality Law since 2007, having previously served
as Chair from 1994 to 1997 and from 2002 to 2006. A member of the New York Chapter of
the American Immigration Lawyers Association, he is the former Chapter Treasurer (1993-
1994) and former Co-Chair of the Vermont Service Center Liaison Committee (1995-1996),
among other positions held. He is also a member of the New York State Bar Association.
Mr. Glicksman is cited in Marquis’ Who’s Who in American Law, Who’s Who in America, and
Who’s Who in the World, and has been awarded a 10.0 “Superb” rating by AVVO.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Glicksman worked as an Immigration Inspector for
the “Legacy” Immigration & Naturalization Service at John F. Kennedy International Airport
from 1976 to 1980.
David M. Grunblatt
David Grunblatt is head of the Immigration & Nationality Group in the Labor &
Employment Law Department, resident in the Newark office.
David provides advice on all types of immigration law issues to corporations
from a broad range of industries, including financial services, media and
publishing, as well as luxury brand retailers. He counsels his clients on policies
and programs to facilitate the hiring and transferring of foreign nationals and
international personnel, using the full array of nonimmigrant and immigrant visa
categories.
David is an established authority on the I-9 program, other recordkeeping and
compliance programs necessitated under immigration and nationality laws, and
complex immigration issues resulting from mergers, acquisitions and other
corporate changes. His stature in field of immigration law is reflected by his
consistent "Band One" ranking in Chambers USA, in which clients praise him as
"able to foresee obstacles that arise, weigh the alternatives and recommend the
course of action that will help us achieve our goals."
For 30 years David also has advised corporations, high-net-worth individuals
and not-for-profit organizations on personal immigration issues, including family
immigration, exclusion and removal (deportability), U.S. investment and taxrelated
matters.
David draws on his broad knowledge and experience to develop, train and
supervise his talented and capable team of lawyers and legal assistants. In
recognition of his skills in this area, he received the Sam Williamson Award
from the American Immigration Lawyers Association for his outstanding efforts
in providing mentoring assistance to immigration lawyers.
Prior to joining Proskauer, David was a partner and head of the corporate
immigration practice at Wildes, Weinberg, Grunblatt & Wildes, P.C., where he
practiced for more than 20 years.
David has held numerous leadership positions in the immigration and nationality
law bar. He lectures and writes extensively on the subject of immigration and
nationality law for many notable U.S. seminars and publications, including the
NJICLE Forum, the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the New York
Law Journal, the New Jersey Law Journal and The Global Legal Post (UK) and
PLI. David is also sought after by major publications for commentary on current
immigration law issues.
A member of Proskauer’s Pro Bono Initiative Committee, David personally
works on many pro bono matters in addition to supervising almost all of the
firm's pro bono immigration work. He has been honored with the Empire State
Counsel Silver Supporter Award for his extensive pro bono service.
