Jennifer Blood, Esq.
Jennifer Blood is a seasoned trial attorney with extensive experience representing correctional medicine companies, physicians, hospitals, and healthcare professionals in high-stakes litigation. As Counsel at Sandberg Phoenix, she has successfully defended complex medical malpractice and constitutional cases in state and federal courts, with a strong record of achieving dismissals and favorable rulings through strategic motion practice. This dual perspective—having litigated extensively on both the plaintiff and defense sides—allows Jennifer to offer practical, well-rounded guidance to attorneys seeking to elevate their deposition skills.
In addition to her litigation practice, Ms. Blood is an Adjunct Professor at Washington University School of Law, where she has spent over a decade teaching trial advocacy, including witness preparation, evidentiary issues, and effective courtroom presentation. She regularly lectures on risk management, deposition practice, and litigation strategies, including presentations for the Fortune 500 companies, National Business Institute, and the National Commission on Correctional Healthcare. Her experience educating and entertaining through engaging presentations spans over a decade.
Drawing on her experience on both sides of the aisle, Plaintiffs and Defense, Ms. Blood provides practical, candid insights on how practitioners can create strong records; effectively prepare for and defend depositions; and empower witnesses to give confident, effective deposition testimony. Her session is designed to help attorneys take control in challenging deposition environments and shape a winning narrative
