Description

Workers compensation, whether as a result of accident or occupational disease, can often seem to overlap with other types of compensation such as New York State disability, retirement disability or social security disability. This CLE course will explain how workers compensation differs from other types of compensation and how to coordinate it with other benefits. The course will explain who is eligible for coverage and how it is applied in cases of accidents and occupational diseases. The course will also review filing procedures, statues of limitations, settlements, and attorney compensation.
