Lecturer Bio
Cherelle T. Griner, Esq.
Cherelle T. Griner is the Founder & Principal of Griner Law Firm, where she leads a dual-track practice: intellectual property — trademark, copyright, licensing, and infringement — paired with juvenile law and education law. She is the creator of the TM Pathway® framework, a signature system designed to give business owners a clear, efficient path to strong federal trademark protection — providing clients with the clarity and confidence to grow their brands without limits.
Griner's distinction as an attorney is inseparable from the circumstances under which she earned her license to practice. While completing her final year of law school and preparing for the bar exam, her spouse was wrongfully detained in Russia — thrusting Griner into the center of an international diplomatic crisis.
She graduated cum laude from North Carolina Central University School of Law and sat for, and passed, the bar exam during this same period, while simultaneously carrying out sustained national media advocacy: appearances on ABC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC, ESPN, Good Morning America, The View, Glamour, and Vogue, culminating in an address delivered from the White House. That convergence — completing a legal education and licensure at the highest level of academic rigor while navigating a live international crisis under global media scrutiny — is the clearest evidence of the judgment, composure, and endurance she now brings to every client engagement.
