About This Course
This CLE course provides attorneys with a clear, practical understanding of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) as core components of modern legal competence. Participants will explore how bias influences investigations, litigation strategy, client counseling, and workplace decision making, and will learn how DEIB principles intersect with ethical duties under the ABA Model Rules.
Through real world examples and actionable tools, the program equips lawyers to recognize bias, strengthen documentation, reduce risk, and build more effective, inclusive legal teams. This session reframes DEIB as a professional skill set essential to ethical practice, organizational culture, and client expectations.
