The purpose of this CLE course is to

  • 1) introduce the viewer to the origin of Tax Deeds,
  • 2) to teach the viewer to distinguish between Tax Deeds and other types of deeds,
  • 3) to highlight challenges to quieting title, a prerequisite to marketability, and
  • 4) to present minimum requirements in undoing a Tax Deed from the point of view of a tax deed purchaser and a prior owner or prior lienholder.

Lecturer Bio

Natalia Ouellette, Esq.

Natalia Ouellette is a Florida licensed attorney with over a decade of experience guiding and supporting real estate investors through their tax deed, wholesale, and foreclosure acquisitions. She and her partner John Lawless run LCO Law LLC, the Firm for Real Estate Investors. The firm represents real estate investors in their wholesale agreements, assists in negotiation and litigation of Tax Deed disputes, helps investors secure properties acquired at foreclosure, represents property owners in boundary disputes, and assist clients in gaining possession of their investment properties.
