About This Course
In this CLE course, participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of the Fair Housing Act, a landmark federal law that prohibits housing discrimination based on race, color, national origin, religion, sex, familial status, and disability. This seminar will cover key provisions of the act, including fair housing advertising and marketing, discriminatory practices, and the role of government agencies in enforcing fair housing laws.
Participants will also learn about their rights and responsibilities under the act, as well as litigating matters under the Fair Housing Act when a violation has occurred. The course will include Q&A to encourage meaningful engagement and practical application of the material covered.
