This CLE presentation covers how to do a proper and complete intake necessary to file a consumer bankruptcy case, as a thorough intake will pave the way for what should be a smooth filing. It will also lay out for you what, if anything, additional you have to look for at that intake in order for your client to not only receive a discharge of debts, but also that additional relief that he or she may be entitled to.

This presentation will include the basics for those not familiar with consumer bankruptcy, with a few practice points added along the way that even attorneys who sometimes represent Chapter 7 debtors don’t necessarily think about.
