CLE Rules For:

Credits that California Attorneys Can Earn From National Academy:
All courses offered by the National Academy of Continuing Legal Education are approved for CLE credit in California as NACLE is an accredited provider in California, Provider #11481. Attorneys can earn all 25 hours with the National Academy of Continuing Legal Education. Self Study credits can be earned in any format. Participatory credits may be earned by choosing our CD-Rom or Online format. You may also satisfy all your specialty requirements through any medium chosen.
Credit for participating in an education activity may not be earned forward from one compliance period to another. The State Bar of California amended Rule 2.1.2 of the MCLE Rules and Regulations to remove emotional distress as a specific requirement. Attorneys are broken up into 3 groups by last names: A-G then H-M and last group is N-Z. Groups rotate and attorneys are due January 31.
Each member shall be sent a Compliance Card before the end of the member's compliance period. Each member shall complete the card by attesting under penalty of perjury that the member has complied with the education requirement or is exempt and the nature of the exemption. Such Compliance Cards must be returned to the address listed on the Compliance Card and must be postmarked no later than the day after the end of the member's compliance period.
