National Academy of Continuing Legal Education (“we,” “us” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it through our compliance with this privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”).
This Privacy Policy describes the types of information we may collect when you access or use the Nacle.com website, or any other media form or mobile application related, linked, or otherwise connected to the Site (collectively, the “Site”), or any content, products or services offered or purchased on or through the Site or by telephone (“Products”). It also applies to emails, texts and phone calls between you and employees or agents of the Site.

- by which you may be personally identified, such as name, postal address, email address, telephone number, attorney license status and information associated with your license including active state(s) and license number(s), continuing legal education (“CLE”) compliance information, birthdate and your identified gender (“personal information”);
- for your payment card, and other payment information that you provide to purchase Products from us; and
- about your internet connection, your IP address, the equipment you use to access the Site and Products, and usage details.
We collect this information:
- directly from you when you provide it to us;
- automatically as you navigate or use the Site; and
- from other sources, for example, from public databases or our business partners and affiliates.
Information you provide to us
The information we collect directly from you on or through our Site may include information that you provide:
- by entering information into forms on our Site;
- in records and copies of your correspondence (including email addresses), if you contact us;
- through completing purchases of the Products you carry out through our Site and of the fulfillment of your orders;
- information you provide through the use of the Products, including ratings and reviews of the Products and affidavits of completion of the Product courses; and

Information we collect through automatic data collection technologies
As you navigate through and interact with our Site, we may use automatic data collection technologies to collect certain information about your equipment, browsing actions, referring website links, and patterns such as location data and Site access logs, referring URLs, and information about your computer and internet connection, including your IP address, operating system, language preferences, and browser type, and related technical data.
When you use the Products through a browser or our mobile application, we may collect information about your download and usage information, and other information about how and when you use the Products, including the last time you accessed a course or the application and course completion status. The information we collect automatically does not include personal information but we may maintain it or associate it with personal information we collect in other ways or receive from third parties. It helps us to improve our Site and to deliver the Product, including by enabling us to estimate our audience size and usage patterns, store information about your preferences, allowing us to customize our Site according to your individual interests, speed up your searches, recognize you when you return to our Site and comply with applicable rules for CLE course provider compliance.
Like many businesses we also collect information through cookies and similar technologies. A cookie is a small file placed on the hard drive of your computer. We use cookies and similar technologies from third-party partners such as Google for measurement services, to improve functionality of our site, better advertisement targeting and for related marketing purposes. - Corporate or firm accounts: To your employer or firm if you accessed a Product through a corporate or firm account.
The categories of personal information disclosed may include contact information (e.g., name, email address), payment information, CLE compliance information and completion status, and usage data relevant to the services or products provided.
Choices About How We Use and Disclose Your Information
If you do not wish to have your email or phone or other contact information used by the Company to promote our products or services you can opt-out by sending an email to remove@nacle.com.
You have the ability to update certain account information at any time. To do so, simply click “login” located at the top of each page, and then select “account info.” Your account information will be displayed, and you will have the ability to change certain information.
You may also send us an email at info@nacle.com with your full name to request access to, correct, or delete any personal information that you have provided to us. Under certain circumstances we may request you to authenticate your account before we make changes to information. We cannot delete your personal information except by also deleting your user account. We may not accommodate a request to change information if we believe the change would violate any law or legal requirement or cause the information to be incorrect. You may request the deletion of your personal information, and we will honor your request unless retaining the information is necessary to complete a transaction or provide a service you requested; detect or prevent security incidents, fraud, or other illegal activity; comply with a legal obligation, court order, or law enforcement request; exercise or defend legal claims; fulfill a contract to which you are a party; or maintain records consistent with applicable statutes of limitation, regulatory requirements, or our documented record retention policies. Where your request is denied based on a legally permitted exception, we will delete any information not subject to that exception and will provide notice of such denial to the extent required by law.

Certain states provide their state residents with rights regarding their personal information. The exact scope of these rights may vary by state and depends upon the applicability of state law to this Site. We will comply with all state laws applicable to our business.
