About This Course
Ron Minkoff is one of New York State’s leading practitioners in the field of attorney ethics and professional responsibility. In this program, Mr. Minkoff updates recent developments in New York legal ethics and considers a wide array of real legal ethical problems drawn from various practice situations, illustrating the most important changes in New York’s ethic rules. This course will focus on a variety of new rules including rules governing allocation of authority between client and lawyer, communications with clients, fees and division of fees, current client conflicts, clients with diminished capacity, duties owed to prospective clients, and more.
