Credits that Oregon Attorneys Can Earn From National Academy:

The National Academy of Continuing Legal Education is an approved Oregon State Bar MCLE Sponsor. You can find us on the Oregon State Bar website here http://www.osbar.org/members/mcle_sponsors.asp.

Oregon attorneys may complete all 45 OR CLE credit hours from National Academy of Continuing Legal Education, including all 5 Legal Ethics credits through Online, DVD and Audio CD formats. Attorneys may carry over a total of 15 OR CLE credit hours to a subsequent compliance period. Although National Academy of Continuing Legal Education reports course attendance to the Oregon State Bar within 30 days of affidavit submission, Oregon attorneys must still file a completed compliance report with the Oregon State Bar MCLE.

Please note Oregon attorneys reporting in 2011 are not required to complete "Access to Justice" credits. Newly admitted attorneys must take fifteen hours of MCLE, including ten hours of practical skills and two hours of ethics during their first reporting period.
