Bradley S. Dworkin
Bradley S. Dworkin is a partner in the law firm of Dworkin and Maciariello. Mr. Dworkin graduated from Case Western Reserve University School of Law. He began immediately in a boutique workers’ compensation firm handling workers’ compensation claims and received extensive trial and appeal experience. Mr. Dworkin has hosted the “Illinois Work Injury” hour on the radio. He has been seen on television, newspapers and other media. Mr. Dworkin has represented athletes, doctors and other lawyers in their workers’ compensation claims. He has lectured at union halls throughout the state. Mr. Dworkin also has worked at the Department of Justice in Washington on tort issues.
Daniel R. Egan
Daniel R. Egan is a partner with Rusin Maciorowski and Friedman, Ltd., concentrating on the representation of employers in workers’ compensation litigation at the trial and appellate levels. His practice also includes protecting employers’ lien recovery rights and coordination of employers’ interests and rights in third-party litigation. Mr. Egan earned a B.A. degree from the University of Notre Dame and a J.D. degree from Loyola University Chicago School of Law. He is a member of both the Illinois State and Chicago Bar Associations. Mr. Egan has presented seminars to employers and employers’ interest groups on various workers’ compensation issues, including cost-effective strategies for resolution of claims and thorough investigation of questionable claims.
Eugene F. Keefe
Eugene F. Keefe is a principal of Keefe, Campbell & Associates, a midsized law firm for workers’ compensation, general liability, employment law and domestic relations defense work for international and national clients. He is a frequent author and presenter on topics of workers’ compensation, and currently serves as editor of Workers’ Compensation Law Update, an industry newsletter to the defense industry published weekly with a readership of 3,500. Matt Kruger
Matt Kruger is a partner at ATI Physical Therapy, which has 26 locations in the Chicagoland area and 55 locations nationwide. Currently, Mr. Kruger oversees the following ATI departments: Workers’ Compensation Clinical Programs (WC/WH & FCAs), Workers’ Compensation Services, Research and Development, and Preventative Medicine. He holds a vast amount of practical experience with the treatment of workers’ compensation clients treating 20 clients a day for over five years while a WC/WH provider and with over 1,100 functional capacity assessments performed for workers’ compensation case closure in Illinois. Mr. Kruger has published and presented over 30 research abstracts on ATI’s workers’ compensation outcomes at venues such as the North American Spine Society, National Strength and Conditioning Association, American College of Sports Medicine, and American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine. He has performed over 30 presentations to workers’ compensation groups in over 10 different states regarding the efficacy of ATI’s WC/WH Program and FCAs. Mr. Kruger holds an M.S. degree in kinesiology, biomechanics and exercise physiology from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, in addition to many strength and conditioning certifications. Mark P. Rusin
Mark P. Rusin is a partner with the firm of Rusin Maciorowski & Friedman, Ltd. He is a member of the firm’s Workers’ Compensation Department. He received a B.S. degree from the University of Illinois. Mr. Rusin earned his law degree from the IIT Chicago Kent College of Law, where he graduated with honors. He is a member of the Chicago and Illinois State Bar Associations and was admitted to the Illinois state bar in 1990. Mr. Rusin focuses on the defense of workers’ compensation cases on behalf of employers, including protecting the employer’s lien and subrogation rights. He has defended workers’ compensation cases at all levels from arbitration up to the Supreme Court of Illinois. Mr. Rusin has presented seminars to employers and employer groups on various workers’ compensation issues.
