Lecturer Bios

Keith L. Hammond, Esq.

Keith L. Hammond is an attorney in the Orlando office of Jackson Lewis LLP. Mr. Hammond earned a B.A. degree from the University of South Florida and a J.D. degree, cum laude, from Stetson University College of Law, where he graduated in the top 5 percent of his class. While attending law school, he served as the managing editor of the Stetson Law Review and was a member of the Phi Delta Phi legal fraternity. After law school, he was a law clerk to U.S. Magistrate Judge Elizabeth A. Jenkins in the Middle District of Florida, Tampa Division. Mr. Hammond is admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in Florida.

Kristyne E. Kennedy, Esq.

Kristyne E. Kennedy is an attorney in the Orlando office of Jackson Lewis LLP. Ms. Kennedy earned her B.A. degree from the University of Central Florida in Orlando and her J.D. degree from the University of Miami School of Law. While at the University of Miami, she focused her studies in the area of labor and employment law, and she served as a legal intern in the Miami District Office of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Ms. Kennedy is a member of The Florida Bar, the American and Orange County Bar Associations, the Central Florida Human Resources Association and the Florida Defense Lawyers Association.

Joanne B. Lambert, Esq.

Joanne B. Lambert is of counsel to the Orlando office of Jackson Lewis LLP. Her practice is devoted exclusively to counseling management regarding ongoing employment and labor matters, and representing management in employment litigation before state and federal courts and administrative agencies. Ms. Lambert’s areas of experience include Title VII, Age Discrimination in Employment Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, Family and Medical Leave Act, Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act, Florida Workers’ Compensation Act, Florida unemployment compensation matters, Florida noncompete and trade secrets laws, and various state contract and tort matters arising from the employment relationship. She is a frequent speaker on workplace law issues and also conducts managerial training on employment-related topics. Ms. Lambert received her B.A. degree in history and J.D. degree, with high honors, both from the Florida State University. She also has achieved the highest rating in the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory.

Susan K. McKenna, Esq.

Susan K. McKenna is a partner in the Orlando office of Jackson Lewis LLP, one of the largest management labor and employment law firms in the country. Ms. McKenna graduated summa cum laude from Indiana University and received her J.D. degree from Duke University School of Law, where she was a William Neal Reynolds scholar and a member of the moot court board. Her practice encompasses all areas relating to the counseling and representation of management on workplace law issues, including representing clients in federal and state court litigation. Ms. McKenna has been selected by her peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America, Leading Florida Attorneys, Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business and Florida Super Lawyers. She is also a frequent speaker on workplace law issues and devotes a significant part of her practice to conducting managerial training on employment-related topics.

Nicole A. Sbert, Esq.

Nicole A. Sbert is an attorney in the Orlando office of Jackson Lewis LLP. She earned her B.S. degree, cum laude, and her M.B.A. degree from the University of Central Florida. Ms. Sbert received her J.D. degree, cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law, where she participated in the Litigation Skills Program and was a certified legal intern with the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office. Ms. Sbert was also a member of the Hispanic Law Student Association and is fluent in Spanish. She is admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in Florida.

Donald C. Works III

Donald C. Works III is a partner in the Orlando office of Jackson Lewis LLP. Mr. Works received his B.S. degree in personnel management and industrial relations from Auburn University and his J.D. degree from the University of Miami. He has been with Jackson Lewis since 1997, where he manages litigation and is responsible for attorney training efforts in central Florida. Mr. Works is the past president of the Human Resource Association of Broward County and the Central Florida Human Resource Association. A certified senior professional in human resources, he is a regular speaker and has published several articles on wage/hour and employment law topics. In addition, Mr. Works teaches human resource management and employment law classes at Valencia Community College and Rollins College.
