Accreditation and CLE Rules for Georgia
National Academy of CLE is an approved provider of CLE courses in Georgia by the Georgia Commission on Continuing Lawyer Competency, sponsor #3730.
Up to 6 CLE hours may be earned by an attorney in a calendar year through NACLE's in-house programs including 1 hour of ethics and 1 hour of professionalism.
Up to 6 hours of in-house credit may be carried forward for the next calendar year or carried back to the previous year.
Accepted CLE Formats: Audio, Video and Online programs count as in-house credits.
GA attorneys must take all the required hours before the December 31 deadline. If the hours are incomplete on December 31, you can make them up during the grace period, which expires on March 31. This saves the $100 late CLE fee. If you miss the March 31 deadline, pay the $100 late fee which extends the deadline to June 30. After June 30 an additional $150 in fees are due for a total of $250 for late completion of your CLE requirement
The State Bar of Georgia charges a course fee of $5 per credit hour which is the responsibility of each attorney.
