DescriptionIn this course, Daniel Gershburg explains the basics of Chapter 7 Bankruptcy, starting with the initial consultation and extending all the way up to the Meeting of the Creditors. He will also discuss the changes in the new Bankruptcy Law and various issues at hand. Some of the topics covered include the Means Test, Median Income Test, how to keep your car and home and why bankruptcy has recently become an appealing choice for individuals. Lecturer BiosDaniel Gershburg, Esq.Daniel Gershburg started his young practice with the hope of changing the way small practice attorneys are viewed. His practice deals specifically with Bankruptcy and Real Estate Law. Mr. Gershburg has spoken to classes at New York Law School, has been published in New York State Bar Association newsletters, and has been a featured speaker with several CLE providers. He frequently speaks at community functions in his Brooklyn neighborhood educating members of the community about Bankruptcy as well as financial advocacy. Mr. Gershburg also spends a considerable amount of pro bono time volunteering at the Brooklyn Bar Association Volunteer Lawyers Project, assisting low income individuals to file for Bankruptcy. |
