Credits that New Jersey Attorneys Can Earn From National Academy:

National Academy of Continuing Legal Education is a NJ Accredited CLE Provider. You may view the National Academy on the NJ Accredited Provider List by clicking http://www.judiciary.state.nj.us/cle/Accredited Service Provider.pdf. NJ Attorneys may earn 12 out of the 24 CLE credit hours from National Academy of Continuing Legal Education, including all 4 Legal Ethics credits through either Online CLE, DVDs, Audio CDs. Rule 201:3. Carryover. A total of twelve credit hours may be carried over to a subsequent compliance period.

Compliance reporting groups. (401:2) Each active lawyer is permanently assigned to one of two compliance groups for CLE purposes, with one group reporting each year. Those whose birthdays are during the period from January 1 through June 30 must certify their compliance on the Annual Attorney Registration Statement (or on such other form as provided by the Board) of each even numbered year next following the completion of a compliance period (Compliance Group 1); those whose birthdays are during the period from July 1 to December 31 must certify their compliance on the Annual Attorney Registration Statement (or on such other form as provided by the Board) of each odd numbered year next following the completion of a compliance period (Compliance Group 2).
