Andrew C. Elliott, Esq.
Andrew C. Elliott is an attorney in Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck, LLP’s Denver office and a member of the firm’s Real Estate and Finance Groups. His practice focuses on real estate finance, taxation, mergers and acquisitions, and other financing transactions. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Elliott was an associate with an investment bank in Denver. He has also worked in research and analysis for Standard and Poor’s. While in law school, Mr. Elliott was a judicial intern for Magistrate Judge Craig Shaffer of the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado. He earned his B.A. degree from Vanderbilt University, his J.D. degree from the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law, and his LL.M. degree in taxation from New York University School of Law.
John R. Heronimus, Esq.
John R. Heronimus is a shareholder and director in the Denver law firm of Dufford & Brown, P.C., where he concentrates his practice in the areas of real estate law, business transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and farm and ranch law. Mr. Heronimus received a B.B.A. degree, with distinction, in finance and a B.A. degree, with distinction, in philosophy from Iowa State University and his J.D. degree from The University of Iowa, where he was an associate editor for the Iowa Law Review. He has represented numerous clients in the purchase and sale of ranches and farms throughout the state of Colorado.
Robert B. Keyser II, Esq.
Robert B. Keyser II is a managing member with McQuitty & Keyser, LLC, where he focuses his practice on providing clients with expert and innovative guidance for corporate transactions; tax, estate and business planning; and estate and trust administration. His special expertise is in the area of estate planning and taxation. Mr. Keyser earned his B.S. degree in accounting from the University of Colorado, and his J.D. and LL.M. degrees from the University of Denver College of Law. He is an honorary professor at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, where he teaches business law. Mr. Keyser has made numerous lecture appearances throughout the state to lawyers, accountants and to the general public.
E. Lee Reichert, Esq.
E. Lee Reichert heads the Corporate and Securities Practice Group at the Denver-based law firm of Kamlet Shepherd & Reichert, LLP. He represents a wide variety of companies ranging from Fortune 500 companies to emerging growth companies to startups in corporate and commercial law. Mr. Reichert has extensive experience in merger and acquisition work for both purchasers and sellers, including structuring, choice of entity, and debt and equity financing in connection with such transactions. He has been involved in a number of transactions involving both privately held entities and public companies and has represented a number of venture and private equity capital funds in their mergers and acquisitions, and financing activities. Mr. Reichert has published a significant number of articles on commercial law topics in a variety of publications. He recently was reappointed to the Colorado Securities Board by Gov. Bill Ritter for a term ending July 1, 2009. Mr. Reichert received his J.D. degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Illinois College of Law, and he graduated cum laude from Colgate University.
Eric J. Zinn, Esq.
Eric J. Zinn is senior counsel in the Tax and Housing Finance Departments at Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck, LLP. He represents clients in matters involving corporate and partnership taxation, state and local taxation, municipal finance, and corporate acquisition and finance. Prior to joining Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck, Mr. Zinn served as managing shareholder at Gelt, Paddison & Zinn, P.C. He is a frequent lecturer for the Colorado Bar Association on topics including the proper choice of legal entity for the operation of a business enterprise, the drafting of operating agreements for the liability companies, international taxation and like-kind exchanges. Additionally, Mr. Zinn has taught entity taxation at the University of Colorado at Denver Master’s of Accounting program and has lectured on tax-related topics for multiple institutions. He received a B.A. degree from The University of the South; a J.D. degree, with honors and Order of the Coif, and an LL.M. degree in taxation from the University of Florida; and M.B., M.S.I.S. and M.S.F. degrees from the University of Colorado at Denver.
