William J. Flynn III
William J. Flynn III is a shareholder of Fowler White Boggs Banker P.A. and heads the International Practice Group. He received his B.A. degree from Georgetown University and his J.D. and M.B.A. degrees from the State University of New York. Mr. Flynn is a member of The Florida Bar and the New York State Bar Association. He is board certified by The Florida Bar in immigration and nationality law. He is and has been a member, officer or director of numerous civic and trade organizations, including the Tampa Bay International Trade Council, of which he is a former chairman. Mr. Flynn has lectured extensively on immigration law topics and has published a number of articles on immigration law in professional journals, newspapers and textbooks. He serves as an adjunct professor of immigration law at Stetson University College of Law. Mr. Flynn is a graduate of Leadership Florida. He was selected in 2004 by Florida Trend as a member of the Florida Legal Elite. In 2006 and 2007, Mr. Flynn was listed in Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business and was named as a Florida Super Lawyer. He was cited in Who’s Who Legal: The International Who’s Who of Business Lawyers 2006 and 2007 editions, and was also listed in The Best Lawyers in America in 2006 and 2007. Mr. Flynn’s practice has been exclusively in immigration law for the past 27 years. His clients include multinational corporations; medical, financial and academic institutions; athletes and performers; information technology providers and users; foreign investors; manufacturers; and individuals from over 70 countries. Mr. Flynn has been an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association since 1980.
Richard C. McCrea, Jr.
Richard C. McCrea, Jr. is is an attorney at Greenberg Traurig, LLP, where he focuses on employment, civil rights and restrictive covenant litigation. He has focused on these practice areas since 1982. Mr. McCrea has been selected for inclusion in every edition of The Best Lawyers in America since 1995. He also has been selected for inclusion in the current editions of Leading American Attorneys and Chambers USA. He was named as one of the top 100 lawyers in Florida by Florida Super Lawyers. Mr. McCrea is one of the few lawyers who are both a Florida Bar board certified civil trial lawyer and a Florida Bar board certified labor and employment lawyer. He also is board certified as a civil trial advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. Mr. McCrea is past chair of the Labor and Employment Law Section of The Florida Bar. He served as chair of The Florida Bar’s Inaugural Labor and Employment Law Certification Committee. He has been elected as a fellow of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers.
Jennifer G. Roeper
Jennifer G. Roeper is an attorney in the International Practice Group of Fowler White Boggs Banker P.A. Ms. Roeper’s practice focuses primarily on immigration law. She is a member of The Florida Bar, the District of Columbia Bar and the American Immigration Lawyers’ Association. Ms. Roeper received her B.A. degree in international studies from Long Island University, C.W. Post Campus, and her J.D. degree from the American University Washington College of Law.
Scott T. Silverman
Scott T. Silverman is of counsel with Greenberg Traurig, LLP. He has a management labor and employment law practice with an emphasis on traditional labor law, covenant not to compete and other complex matters. During his 13-year career, Mr. Silverman has successfully defended corporations against Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FCRA, FLSA, EPA, FMLA, Florida’s Private Whistle-Blower Act, workers’ compensation retaliation, and common-law tort claims in state and federal court litigation. In addition, he has obtained injunctions for employers in the context of unlawful strike activity and individual violations of covenants not to compete, confidentiality agreements and the Uniform Trade Secret Act. Mr. Silverman has also represented employers in labor arbitrations, employment law arbitrations and agency proceedings. As a complement to his litigation practice, he advises employers on best practices and effective policies to avoid liability and has drafted employee handbooks, employment contracts and independent subcontractor agreements for his clients. Mr. Silverman lectures and writes on a regular basis on labor and employment issues. He is involved with The Florida Bar, the American Bar Association, the Hillsborough County Bar Association and the Tampa Bay Inn of Court. He is listed in Chambers USA, has achieved the highest rating in the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory and was recently selected to The Best Lawyers in America. Mr. Silverman earned a B.A. degree from Washington and Lee University and a J.D. degree, Order of the Coif, from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law, where he was notes and comments editor for the Washington University Law Quarterly.
